Private 1:1 Kundalini Yoga Sessions

BaharMay25-004.jpeg

Kundalini Yoga is often known as the Yoga of Awareness - a spiritual and physical practice that works with breath, movement, mantra, and meditation to expand consciousness.

Over the years, my relationship with Kundalini Yoga has evolved.

What I now teach is a more somatic and heart-led approach. Rather than focusing on awakening energy or rising upward, we return to the body. We slow down. We listen. We create safety within the nervous system.

This is Kundalini Yoga as grounding. As regulation. As coming home.

I offer Kundalini yoga classes in South London, including Wimbledon, as well as online sessions for clients across the UK.

About Kundalini Yoga

What Makes Somatic Kundalini Yoga Different?

Nervous System Awareness: Kundalini Yoga uses specific breath patterns and rhythmic movement to regulate the nervous system. The aim is not intensity, but balance - supporting a shift from stress and contraction into safety and calm.

Conscious Breath (Pranayama): Breath is the bridge between body and mind. Through intentional breathing, we release stored tension, soften chronic holding patterns, and restore natural flow.

Intentional Movement (Kriya & Asana): Sequences are designed to support vitality, circulation, and emotional release. In a somatic approach, the emphasis is on listening to the body rather than pushing beyond it.

Mantra & Sound: Sacred sound helps quiet mental noise and create coherence within the heart and mind. Sound becomes a way to soothe, stabilise, and centre.

Meditation & Inner Listening:  Through mudra, eye focus, and breath, meditation becomes a practice of returning to yourself — cultivating clarity without force.

Integration & Inner Alignment: Beyond the physical practice, Kundalini Yoga invites you into deeper self-awareness. Not to escape the body, but to inhabit it more fully - with steadiness, compassion, and presence.
